The company

Fenix International Limited — the UK-registered company that owns and operates OnlyFans — is wholly owned by Ukrainian-American entrepreneur Leonid Radvinsky. The platform takes a flat 20% commission on every payment made by fans (subscriptions, tips, pay-per-view) and remits the remaining 80% to creators. Fiscal year 2024, ending November 30, 2024, was OnlyFans' sixth consecutive year of revenue growth.

What follows is everything that can be sourced about the OnlyFans economy — the platform itself, where its users are, who earns the most, and what little is publicly known about the agencies that have built a business managing creators on top of it.

OnlyFans went from a niche subscription site to a $7 billion business in five years. The COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 was the inflection point: gross revenue jumped from $375M in 2019 to $2.4B in 2020, then doubled again in 2021 to $4.8B. Post-pandemic growth has held at a steadier 9–15% annual pace as the platform matured its international payments and expanded categories beyond adult content.

The creator base grew in parallel — from ~350,000 accounts at the start of 2020 to 4.63 million by November 2024. That headline number includes inactive accounts; per Companies House filings, OnlyFans receives roughly 180,000 new creator applications per month, of which around 36% are approved.

OFM industry

The industry that manages OnlyFans creators is opaque

No body publishes audited agency revenue, headcount or commission structures. Agencies operate as private companies in dozens of jurisdictions, most of them under five years old. What follows is everything that is known — drawn from press reporting, industry blogs, and what can be derived from platform-level disclosures.

What is known

  • OnlyFans takes 20% of every payment, leaving 80% for the creator. This is the cap on what an agency could ever take from net.
  • Total payouts to creators in FY2024 were $5.80 billion. The OFM industry's gross pool sits somewhere inside this number.
  • Full-service agencies typically charge 30–40% commission on creator gross; the broader range is 20–50%.
  • Industry observers track around 150 major agencies; the top three are estimated to control ~40% of the managed-creator market.

What is not known

  • What share of creators are agency-managed (no public figure exists).
  • Individual agency revenues, headcount, country breakdown.
  • Chatter-workforce size (estimated tens of thousands globally, mostly outsourced).
  • Manager-level performance figures — there is no industry ranking.

A transparent estimate · OFM industry sizing

Variety · FY2024

Because no authoritative sizing exists, the best we can do is bracket the industry between conservative and aggressive assumptions, and show the math:

Low

$261M

$5.8B × 15% × 30%

15% of payouts under agency mgmt × 30% commission

Mid

$507.5M

$5.8B × 25% × 35%

25% of payouts under agency mgmt × 35% commission

High

$928M

$5.8B × 40% × 40%

40% of payouts under agency mgmt × 40% commission

These are derivations, not measurements. The real figure could fall outside this range. OFMstats aims to narrow it through verified agency submissions over the coming quarters.

Geography

Traffic share by country

Share of global onlyfans.com traffic. Strongest public proxy for country-level user activity — OnlyFans does not publish a country breakdown.

The United States accounts for nearly half of all global OnlyFans traffic — a concentration that is unusual even on adult platforms. The next four markets combined (United Kingdom, Mexico, Germany, Canada) make up roughly 20%.

Latin America punches above its weight collectively: Mexico ranks third, and Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia each appear in the top fifteen despite lower per-capita spending power. Continental Europe lags the anglosphere: Germany, France, Italy and Spain together account for about 11% of traffic — less than the United Kingdom alone is per capita.

The list is overwhelmingly celebrity converts — rappers, reality TV personalities and Instagram-era figures monetising existing audiences — and a handful of native creators like Belle Delphine and Amouranth who built followings on streaming and social before crossing over.

The gap is brutal. The #1 earner makes ~50× what #10 makes. And the gap from rank 1 down to the platform-wide mean of $131 / month is approximately 150,000×. The top 1% of creators take an estimated $49,000 a year; the median is much lower still.

Earnings figures are press estimates compiled by The Tab from various reports. OnlyFans does not officially confirm individual creator earnings; treat all figures as estimates.
